Public Hearing – Petitioned Warrant Article #2

THE SELECT BOARD WILL HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING PER RSA 41:8- ON MONDAY MARCH 4^TH, 2024 AT 6:00PM FOR THE PURPOSE OF DISCUSSING ARTICLE #2 ON THE 2024 TOWN WARRANT.

Are you in favor of increasing the board of selectmen to 5 members?

Petition Warrant Article

Should the article pass it will take effect as of the 2025 annual town meeting.  At the 2025 town election, the town would vote to elect 2 selectmen for three-year terms (the one whose term would be up then, plus one extra), and also elect 1 more selectman for a term of one year.  RSA 41:8-e.
